I'm sure this is a topic that's been covered many times but I've not been able to locate any info with a search so I'll apologize in advance to anyone that takes offense with my question...
I've recently remarried and my wife has two parrots that belonged to her children. They have grown up and moved away but neither one wants the birds. We are looking for an organization or individual that would be interested in giving these birds a good home. I don't think they get the attention they deserve.
If anyone out there has a positive suggestion, please email me or post to this topic.

The best thing you can do (by far) is contact a bird club in your area. They usually have adoption programs and will match the birds up with the best caretaker. They club will check on the birds and make sure everything is ok. Dave wrote in message

I would endorse Dave's suggestion of contacting a bird club to help you place your wife's parrots in a good home for them. The other posters in this thread may well have good intentions but you don't know anything about them; by going through a local club you will be as sure as you can be that they have been rehoused properly. Indeed you might even be able to maintain some contact with them, if that's what you want to do. Best of luck in any case, let us know how you get on. regards Graham
