Will you please just read it? I am pleading with you. It is important
that you do, because of problems with veterinarians contracting out
cremations to corrupt pet cremation companies that get caught by the
USDOJ.

I didn't need to read it. We've done our homework. Believe me, not one part
of our business is flippantly passed by. We care and we respect our clients.

The State of New York already has a law in place dealing with this
matter. The pet cemeteries/crematories/funeral homes are licenced by
the State of New York.

We are in NYS.

Hello Sharon, my apologies, sorry, I didn't know you were in New York
State. Can you tell me a bit about the Pet Cemetery Law that was
passed a long time ago?
I am trying to push the Province of Ontario to bring in the same
legislation, but want to know what the PROs and CONs of this
particular piece of legislation that the NY State has.
Does this mean more paperwork and record keeping for your clinic,
frustrations and pushing clients to sign the authorization to cremate
or burial, also signing the authorization for release form before the
pet is released to the pet crematory or pet cemetery?
Are the pet cemeteries where you are, do the cremations fpr vets in
your area and you, and allow your clients to witness their pets being
put into the crematory? This brings closure.
Are the veterinarians banned from contracting out for cremation
services to unauthorized pet crematories and do they have to go
through a pet cemetery instead?
I am working on opening a pet crematory, but am so undecided.......
Hope to hear from you soon!
